Absence of Association

The Absence of Association Collection pulls inspiration from Islamic culture found in Middle eastern countries; utilising imagery sourced from past travels to Marrakech, Morocco and Doha, Qatar.

Through the passage of time, memories of previous experiences begin to distort and converge. Gradually, the distant memories try to resurface at times, only to be overthrown with heavy emotions of dissociation. Following on from the pre-collection, ‘Absence of Association’ addresses ‘transience’ in terms of ‘memories’, looking deeper into abstract anti-realistic prints and moody colour schemes that override initial inspirations.
